Kutak Rock LLP is seeking an experienced associate attorney to join the firm’s corporate department in its Omaha office. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), securities, and/or general corporate matters.

QUALIFICATIONS: Skills and Abilities

·       Strong analytical reasoning skills

·       Ability to review, analyze, and draft complex documents accurately and efficiently

·       Ability to manage multiple matters and tasks simultaneously and to complete tasks efficiently, effectively, and in a timely manner

·       Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing

·       Ability to competently and professionally communicate with clients and supervising attorneys

·       Ability to work effectively under pressure and to meet deadlines

·       Excellent organizational and matter management skills

·       Strong attention to detail

·       Ability to work professionally and collaboratively with partners, associates, and support staff

·       Ability to work effectively with large working groups as part of a transaction team

·       Desire to actively engage in client development activities 

QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Experience

·       Law degree (JD) from an ABA accredited law school

·       Currently admitted, or eligible for admission, in Nebraska

·       2+ years of relevant transactional experience
